(Reuters) – Two folks taken to hospital within the English city of Salisbury on Sunday night after being taken sick in a restaurant have been discharged, police mentioned on Wednesday.
“We’re not treating this incident as suspicious,” Wiltshire Police mentioned.
Former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia had been poisoned with the nerve agent Novichok in Salisbury in March. A number of weeks later, two different folks in a close-by city additionally fell sick after coming into contact with Novichok, and one died.
Police had already mentioned on Tuesday that the 2 folks taken sick on Sunday had not been uncovered to any form of nerve agent.
Britain has accused Moscow of attacking the Skripals in Salisbury with Novichok, a navy grade nerve agent developed by Russia. Moscow denies any involvement.
